The Kansas Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics (KAAP) is a professional organization with more than 500 members throughout the state who work to make lives better for children in Kansas. KAAP has won the AAP Outstanding Medium Chapter award multiple times, is involved in several statewide committees and task forces, active in legislative issues, and manages several programs to help pediatricians promote child literacy, breastfeeding, immunizations and more. Mission: The attainment by all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults of their full potential for physical, mental, emotional, and social health.
