The Foundation was Established in 1981 as a non – profit , tax exempt, publicly supported organization established to support community based programs. These programs include our Fraternity's Guide Right Youth Mentorship Program, grades 6 through 12 , scholarships for undergraduate members, IKare – disaster relief program, ULI – undergraduate leadership institute, health awareness programs, and community financial literacy programs for young people, to name a few.MISSIONThe mission of the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation is to identify and invest in opportunities that engage today's generation of young people in leading the social, economic and educational transformation of undeserved and underrepresented communities throughout the nation and global community.VISIONThe Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation is built upon the fundamental premise that a world which celebrates individual achievement and strong communities of color can only be realized when human kind makes an unwavering commitment to the promotion of equality and ending poverty for all.We are excited about doing more for the communities where we live and work. We are fully engaged in this transformation to fine solutions to the challenges that the current and next generation face. We look forward to working with Corporations , Foundations, and individuals who share our common goal to better the lives of our young people particularly through education, training , and community redevelopment.
