THE KEVIN DOTSON FOUNDATION INC is an outreach program based in Baltimore providing wrap around services to youth in sports and recreation with an approach that includes the entire family.Our organization believes in youth voice and youth choice allowing each participant to have an intricate part of The Kevin Dotson Foundation by having several youth on the youth advisory team.Overview of Services:-Sports-Health and Wellness-Transformative Mentoring Program-Life Skills-Mental Health Component – Trauma BasedMENTORING TALKING POINTS:-Copings Skills-Leadership-Substance Abuse-Teenage Stress-Peer Pressure-Low Self Esteem vs. High Self EsteemGoals:To create educational opportunities that will add value to each youth participant.KDF support system will provide mentors that will encourage each youth to strive for greatness. Reassuring them that "THE KEVIN DOTSON FOUNDATION INC" is an outlet that they can use as they transition.Through the KDF programs we want to enable everyone to reach their maximum potential.KDF will expand our program in 2021 during our 1st annual community outreach event. KDF will provide a "KDF Resource Guide" with information about our strategic partners in the Baltimore metropolitan area that provide services to our target audience.
