Performing Arts - London, England, United Kingdom
The King's Players is the leading theatre society of King's College London and for decades has been committed to creating highly innovative and exciting theatre. We run a busy schedule of plays, weekly workshops, trips, and socials. Our projects include six plays a year, with four chosen from a wide range of classical, modern and contemporary playwrights, and two chosen from new writing created by our members. As well as putting on our large-scale productions every year, we have also taken part in the annual London Student Drama Festival and have performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We also work closely with other performance societies, providing opportunities at King's in Improv comedy, Shakespeare, musical theatre, and more. We also provide a plethora of backstage opportunities, from being a stage manager to running a show's marketing campaign. The King's Players are focused on providing an enriching student theatre experience for as many King's students as possible.
