KITCHEN IS A NOT FOR PROFIT CREATED TO CONNECT BIG BUSINESS OWNERS, SME'S , PROFESSIONALS & STUDENTS THUS CREATING A COLLABORATIVE ECO SYSTEM AND KNOWLEDGE SHARING PLATFORM. Kitchen community initiative and community events has been hosting collaboration & networking ( CAN ) events in Kochi & Trivandrum over the last 12 months and hosts a community of 1000+ members. Started by Andrine Mendez, Kitchen is a community partner for Kerala startup mission ( KSUM ) and was created to bring forth private participation in execution the Kerala entrepreneurial policy and vision. A platform that believes in collaboration,Kitchen is a community of talented professionals , entrepreneurs & students created to nurture the business ecosystem of Kerala. The broad objectives of the trust can be defined as : -- IP remains in Kerala : startup IP's migrate to other cities because the eco system is not able to give it the required support and with the consistent activations this can be solved --Forging Investor community trust : Constantly seeing innovations and consistency in startups will help build more trust in Kerala based entrepreneurs --Positive word of mouth : With International speakers , startups from other cities participating in the event, a positive word of mouth about the Eco system in Kerala will further foster innovation , student startups & bring back our engineers to their home state --Boosting confidence of Indigenous business community to support startups : bringing the business leaders of Kerala together & showcasing startups will ensure they interact more with entrepreneurs & SME's --Provide the student community an exposure to entrepreneurship : roping in student IEDC to attend the event and organise the event will mean more live exposure to the students
