Public Safety - Chesterfield, Missouri, United States
Through advocacy efforts, scholarships, community events and programs, The KMA Foundation is dedicated to honoring the lives of those lost by keeping memories alive, inspiring others to become safer drivers, and advocating for safer roads and highways. The KMA Foundation was established in 2010 after an accident in Jefferson County, MO, took the life of 20-year-old Kaela Marie Archambault. When Kaela passed away, her father, Shawn Archambault, started a grassroots effort to honor his daughter's memory - an effort that grew to become the KMA Foundation, which carries his daughter's initials, and represents our mission to Keep Memories Alive. It is first and foremost the mission of the KMA Foundation to honor the memory of loved ones lost. Through spiritual healing and support, we strive to help others live through the loss of a loved one — not by moving on, but by moving forward. We hope to be used by God for His glory and assist as a healing process takes place. We also are dedicated to honoring the memory of Kaela and others by offering high school scholarships and innovative driver awareness programs so that young teens and adults understand and know how to become safer drivers. In all we do, we Keep Memories Alive
