With experience in documentary and fiction, we can tell this delicate story with the honesty it deserves.Impact Plan: Our full Impact Plan outlines how we plan to change the public perception of what "counts" as abuse in a relationship. We'll focus on lesser known forms like emotional abuse, technology abuse, and isolation from loved ones. Through our podcast, Love is Not, we've built a network of abuse experts and educators who can help us create discussion guides and coordinate engaging screening events with their communities.Writer / Director / Producer:Adam Joel is an impact-driven filmmaker and a survivor of relationship abuse. He is a co-founder of Aggressively Compassionate, a production company that makes films for good causes. Co-Producer:Sydney Bauer is the Client Success Manager with Storybolt, a company that uses documentary films to curate programming around DEI for their clients. Co-Producer:Max Asaf is a Chicago-based freelance documentary filmmaker. Max served as the development coordinator at Kartemquin Films, helping raise over $5 million for the organization and its films.Director of Photography:Madelyn Momano is an award-winning cinematographer based out of Chicago.
