The Laundry Restaurant is a modern neighbourhood all-day Bistro and wine shop in the heart of Brixton. In addition to our casual terrace, café and counter-seating available in our ground floor. We offer two a beautiful semi-private dining areas in our lower ground floor. Our kitchen never sleeps, we serve food all day The Laundry has been inspired by and created in part to honour the Edwardian heritage of the restaurant's building, Walton Lodge on Coldharbour Lane in Brixton. Built in the 1880s and opened in 1904 under King Edward VII's rule, Walton Lodge served as a commercial steam press laundry until those operations ceased in 2014. This history has inspired more than just the name of Melanie Brown's first restaurant, it informs the ‘informal dining' style of its all day dining menu.Set in the heart of Brixton on Coldharbour Lane, The Laundry is a bustling all-day neighbourhood Restaurant, Café & Wine Shop. Serving food throughout the day, we serve Breakfast from 9am - 3pm Monday - Sunday, and our All-day menu from 12pm Monday - Saturday. Sunday is reserved for our Sunday Roast menu, served from 12pm - 8:30pm.
