The Learning Helpline is a student-led tutoring organization founded at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Initially aiming to offer free tutorings services to help middle school students to succeed in their core subject during online learning, the Learning Helpline has since expanded its goals to bridge the education equality gap, focusing primarily on Title I schools across North Carolina to provide free tutoring services to underprivileged students. High school volunteers work as the primary tutors, receiving volunteer hours for their work.
