The Legacy List is the independent charity for Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, set up in 2011 by the London Legacy Development Corporation and the Mayor of London to support the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Our mission is to make creative connections between people and the Park. We develop, commission and support high quality art, education and skill building initiatives to create brighter futures for the communities in the neighbouring boroughs. Our charitable objectives are to: o Promote the Park and contribute to its unique identity o Advance arts and culture in and around the Park o Enhance education and skills in and around the Park o Contribute to sustainable development in and around the Park o Engage local communities in and around the Park To date, we have engaged over 500,000 people in 33 projects, worked with over 120,000 school children and secured over £4 million, making us one of the most successful start-up charities in the capital.
