We grow fresh hydroponic lettuce indoors under LED lighting, 365 days a year without the use of pesticides.We at the lettuce people are committed to ending childhood obesity by providing sustainable food education to K-12 students and the community. We believe that by teaching hydroponics and indoor growing methods we can bring the school year and the growing season together. This enables students to plant, grow, harvest and eat the food they produce.We have designed a sustainable food education program that utilizes indoor agriculture and hydroponic growing methods to teach Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) in hands on real life applications.Check out our journey at www.thelettucepeople.com
