Nonprofit Organization Management - Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa
The Living Link is a centre for adults over the age of 18 with intellectual impairments. We offer a one year's training program where these adults complete a life skills training program where they are taught basic skills enabling them to be more independent. This program consists of training at the centre and job sampling on various work sites with a Job coach. We have two intakes a year one from: January – November and June – May the following year. We then assist to place these adults into the open labour market employment and we offer support to both them and their employers. (Adults have to do the course before we find employment) We also assist our members to become independent and live in the community with support
