A Hand In Hand Personal Health Care Advocates supports, advocates for and encourages people with a new diagnosis, an ongoing acute/chronic illness or disability. We provide many services that take the burden of dealing with an illness of the shoulders of our clients so they may live a life of passion and purpose, despite the illness or disability. A Hand in Hand advocate can accompany clients to appointments, procedures and hospital stays. We make sure you don't fall through the cracks in our current medical model. Even the most intelligent person who is highly educated about their condition or diagnosis needs someone on their side to ensure they receive the BEST medical care possible. We can also help you deal with the medical bills and insurance claims. Having an illness is a full-time job if you try to do it by yourself. Let A Hand In Hand help you take your life back and concentrate on healing. We have free presentations occasionally explaining what an advocate is and why people need one. Our workshops on how to live a life when you have an illness or disability will teach you how to get out of the "patient role" and live again. Illness or disability does not need to define you.
