The London Bread & Cake Company Limited was formed bye the Directors David Hall (Managing) and Bryan Roe when they joined the original Superslice Ltd. in May 1995. David Hall is now the sole Director and shareholder of the Company since June 1998. Superslice was originally founded in 1882 in Holborn, North London and the Company was owned as a family business by the Phillips's for many years, with its skilled, and loyal staff, the bakery has a tradition of supplying Caterers, Shops, Hotels, Restaurants, Canteens, Public Houses, Sandwich Makers and Snack Bars within the Greater London and immediate Home Counties area.Some 92 staff produce over 600 product lines fresh every day, to its broad customer base, offering a service, if required by the customer 364 days of the year.With a reputation built on 'good basic value for money products' such as various Sliced Crusty Breads, Soft and Crusty Rolls and a wide varying range of Cakes, coupled with the additional new innovative International Speciality lines which customers are now demanding, has led to a very varied and interesting product base we are able to offer our customers.Although capable of high output demands, the bakery production unit still retains its skilled craftsmen to produce smaller quantities of traditional hand-made products when required, and bespoke items.The Company gained the British Retail Consortium accreditation for all product in September 2002. "A" grade for past 10 years.
