The M Singers Details
The M Singers is a men's chorus based in Ipoh, Malaysia. Consisting of more than 20 members, they are formed by the alumni members of Sam Tet Voices who show great enthusiasm for choral singing. The members are now currently pursuing tertiary studies in different parts of the world such as Malaysia, Singapore, the UK, the US as well as Australia. Founded in 2014, the choir made its debut performance in "A Choral Journey" on 22 February 2014. In June 2014, the choir also participated in the 13th Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod. In July 2015, they took part in the 4th Bali International Choir Festival 2015 and achieved a Silver medal in the ‘Male Choir Category'. In January 2016, they had successfully organised their inaugural concert "A Waking Dream" as a fund-raising event for their participation in the 9th World Choir Games in Sochi, Russia. They had achieved a Gold Diploma in the Young Male Choir category in collaboration with the Sam Tet Voices.
