If you're looking for the best place to take jewelry classes in the San Antonio or Austin area, you've found it! We take pride in being one of the premier metals studios in South Central Texas, but we're working to be more: The Makery is your place to learn, play, and connect with other people who want to slow down and live intentional, meaningful lives. Take a class, join us for one of our special events, spend some time at one of our Maker's Days, or browse our growing library of creative books and magazines. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming place where you can throw open the doors to the part of you that wants to leave a mark, work with your hands, and create something lasting. We regularly offer workshops in metals fabrication, enamels, and metal clay for everyone from beginners to advanced makers, with national level instructors who are knowledgeable and committed educators and artists. Monthly studio memberships are available for students who are interested in making use of our wide range of studio tools and equipment. Check out our newly opened Earring Bar, where you can design your own pair of earrings, or shop original artwork and handcrafted jewelry by owner artists Nick and Francesca Watson.
