We use applied improvisation. Applied improvisation is an umbrella term describing the growing field of study exploring the application of the principles and practices of theatrical improvisation beyond theatre spaces, to foster intra- and interpersonal skills necessary to thrive in volatile, uncertain and rapidly changing environments. We use applied improvisation because 1) scientific research links the practice of improvisation to greater uncertainty tolerance, participation, creative thinking, confidence and adaptability, 2) it is a boring-proof, collaborative, and playful way to learn 3) it works online and in-person.
