I am an independent video map designer and trainer, utilizing Curious World Maps. I design and produce animated maps for news and special programming, creating custom Style Sheets and Templates to facilitate daily map production. I also provide on-site, hands-on training for design and production staff members who will be using Curious World Maps in their production environment. I have been using Curious Maps since 2000, and have provided on-site training for over 125 TV stations and production facilities throughout North America. My past experience as Art Director for NBC Nightly News involved the design, creation and organization of thousands of animated 2D and 3D maps. Since then, I have designed map "looks" and provided training for the major networks, cable channels, syndicated programs and local TV stations.
