The Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center is the keystone of the public arts community in Ocean Springs. Located in the historic Ocean Springs Public School Building on Government Street, the Center provides a diverse set of programs and facilities for the arts. \\Working with the City of Ocean Springs, the Friends of the Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center of Arts and Education are dedicated to restoring the 1927 Ocean Springs School building and to providing an environment for artistic activities including music, visual and performing arts and education. The Friends of the Mary C. are responsible for the administration and operation of the Center.\\The Trent Lott Performing Arts Theater is available for performances and meetings. With 383 seats, the Theater accommodates concerts, plays, musicals, recitals and town meetings.\\The Scharr-Ello Studio provides professional audio/video recording, mastering and editing services. The Studio is a center of a new grassroots effort to build a musicians exchange network for Mississippi and the Coast. The Studio is available for individuals, groups, choirs, school groups, bands and chamber ensembles by the hour or session. \\Space for community gatherings! Rooms at the Mary C. are available for meetings, workshops, celebrations, small recitals and demonstrations. \\The building and the Duckett Gallery are open to the public Tuesday – Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm. \Admission is free.
