The MHMI is a teaching institute for the RN in California no longer offers CE credits to help renew the RN license for attendees.Mary Helen is a retired CCRN with 30 years experience at the bedside in ICCU, PAR, O.R., G.I. Lab, Locked ICU Psychiatry and Maternity ICU. Prior to nursing, Mary Helen was the first geriatric social worker in nursing homes in St Paul, Minnnesota, starting in 1970. She had a debriefing service and referral and support for employees or families with addiction and domestic violence. Her first specialty is the psychology of death and dying. Mary Helen has lectured with Elisabeth Kubler-Ross for World U/Ojai. She is a novelist and her website highlights her Pulitzer nominated fiction, NAVAJO HEAT, and provides info about her private practice in debriefing and acute stress crisis management.
