The Mentoring Network is a North American initiative connecting motivated high school and post-secondary students (mentees) with outstanding high level, relevant, trained peer, or alumni mentors in a personalized mentoring program. Our aim is to provide future leaders across all disciplines the opportunity to engage with a community of mentors to learn how to learn, strengthen their soft skills, and get guidance from great mentors committed to providing the right tools to be successful and dynamic in a world of ever-increasing innovation and technological development. Mentees will learn the right tools, techniques, and attitudes that it takes to succeed in any stage of their personal, academic or professional life; gain a better understanding of the future of academia and employment; and learn how to create opportunities. The Mentoring Network is an ecosystem that breaks down barriers; fosters a culture for mentoring and collaboration between technical- and soft skill development; extends networking in personal, academic and professional domains; helps students understand and master new skills; learn how to see themselves clearly; how to constantly think and ask good questions; and move up the learning curve.
