Non-Profit - Cranston, RI, US
The Murphy Fund was established in Rhode Island, on July 26, 2019 in honor and memory of Aaron Murphy. After a brave, three year battle with Sarcoma Cancer, Aaron passed away on July 8, 2019. After this tragic loss, Aaron's close friends and family united to create an organization that could help Sarcoma patients and their families in the future. The Murphy Fund's mission is to raise awareness for Sarcoma Cancer, while raising funds to assist a variety of research projects, trials, and scientific studies. As the only organization in Rhode Island specific to Sarcoma Cancer, The Murphy Fund leadership team brings a combined twenty years in the non-profit industry. Using these skills we intend to host events, create merchandise, and accept contributions from all of our generous donors in order to accomplish our mission. We appreciate any type of support you are able to give. All it takes is a post, share, and conversation to get us closer to our goals. Every dollar or service or good you're able to give are deeply appreciated and will be used to the best of our ability to raise awareness and hopefully contribute to finding a cure.
