The Museum Fund (TMF) is a public charity, which receives donations for the benefit of museums and other cultural institutions. TMF takes an active management approach for the benefit of non-profit organization members supporting their aspiring programs. The charity was formed to achieve the following purposes: (a) to promote artworks that lie outside one museum's mission, duplicate works, etc. by making them accessible to other museums that will promote protection and public access;(b) to create a network through which museums can share multiple resources; and(c) to reduce or eliminate museums' dependency on founders' resources, corporate resources, and/or aging or exhausted boards by providing an additional source of funding to public museums with budget deficits and with a high level of dependency on charitable donations; and (d) to ensure the public's access to learn and observe important works of art which otherwise might be unavailable for viewing.The Museum Fund is non-profit company and shall be operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.
