We are the only independent monthly Muslim newspaper in the UK which is neither backed by any country nor by any organisation or party. We are authoritative commentators on British Muslim affairs and are renowned for our objectivity and authenticity of our news. We are one of the pioneers to recognise the Muslim community as a faith group and campaign for the British Muslim identity. We often highlight human rights abuses faced by both British Muslims and Muslims globally.The Muslim News is the most consulted paper in the UK on Muslim domestic and international issues by various media, institutions and researchers – both Muslim and non-Muslim.Our ethnic readership is dynamic and diverse; South Asian (Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Kashmiri and Indian), Indonesian, Malaysian, Turkish, Turkish-Cypriot, Iranian, Arab, African, Afro-Caribbean and include other ethnic minorities. We organize ‘The Muslim News Awards for Excellence', the prestigious annual event to acknowledge British Muslims contribution to society.
