The Institute of Sports and Social Justice (formally known as The National Consortium for Academics and Sports (NCAS)) uses the power and appeal of sport to effect positive social change in society. We believe that sport can heal communities, help right wrongs, and teach about social justice issues. We educate and empower individuals and organizations by inspiring values-based thinking which leads to actions that promote social responsibility and equality. Our cutting edge programs are highly interactive, engaging athletic executives, administrators, staff, coaches, and student-athletes in unusually effective ways. Through the use of sports analogies, real-life athletic case studies, and scenarios, role plays, videos, and other activities.
