As a leading global economic powerhouse, the United States ranks 14th in the world in a study of financially literate countries, failing to break into the top 10. As Americans, it does not only greatly benefit us to learn how to manage our money, but it is our responsibility to be financially savvy if we would like to continue to serve as global role models.
