The Neighborhood Education Project's mission is to foster an atmosphere of academic and intellectual growth amongst the youth of our community one person, one neighborhood at a time. The Neighborhood Edu. Project was established in the fall of 2013. We believe that as students, we have the skills and the drive to advocate for our peers in our local, national and international communities. Opening up opportunities for teens to contribute, we hope to instill confidence in children, that with initiative and self-advocacy, they can pursue the education that America and the world's youth all deserve. Overseen by high school and middle school students, Neighborhood Edu. Project strives to create learning opportunities for disadvantaged communities, through sub-projects like Project Life of Literacy, Project Build a Book Case, Project Assist and more. As we continue to grow and expand both in activities, members, and physical locations, The Neighborhood Education Project will spark awareness to the value of education and provide students variety of ways to assist their community.
