The New Progressives, which will be a non-profit organization to find new and innovative ways to raise and invest money to fund America's schools and to bring students, parents, educators and community & industry leaders together to collaborate on new & innovative ways to keep methods that work and design new methods to tackle problem areas of education in our schools. The New Progressives' charter is also to organize a Foundation to effectively meet the same goal of funding education. Today's recession [yes, it's official now!] can be countered and corrected in the long term by improving our schools and educational standards, especially at the early childhood development/education level. The New Progressives' sole mission is to improve our nation through improving the education of our children. A message from the Director: The New Progressives has not launched yet. I am raising capital to cover the cost and fees related to incorporating, website design [as you can see, it is still a work in progress!] and to apply for recognition by the IRS of exempt status under section 501(c)(3) to start The New Progressives.
