The New York Bee Sanctuary assemble a team of scientists, supporters & beekeepers passionate about bees, their preservation, and the creation of the first New York Bee Sanctuary.The New York Bee Sanctuary, with its proximity to a highly densely populated area, will also be a place dedicated to EDUCATION (offering individual and school visits), RESEARCH (allowing monitoring of the species), and PRESERVATION (potentially re-introduction of native species of insects/pollinators).On a broader level, we aim to defend and promote the natural (organic and bio-dynamic) method of agriculture, permaculture and biodiversity, which all positively impact the population of native insects, especially honey bees, wild bees and all other pollinators.
