The Nigerian Workforce Strategy and Enlightenment Centre (NIWOSEC) is a non-profit and non-political organization incorporated in Nigeria on the 20th November 2017. Vision:To be a regional one-stop solution centre for national development through working-class activities.Mission:Our mission is to build the patriotic and value-adding workforce which promotes the dignity of labour and contribute substantially to national development.The overarching aims and objectives of the organization are as follows:1. To promote the cooperation and integration of Nigerian workers for national unity and development2. To carry out programs that will continuously orientate Nigerian workers of the need for government, labour and management relations by maintaining close synergy within federal, state, local governments and private organizations. 3. To carry out research and develop the capacity of the workforce in such a way that they would be empowered to meet national challenges and strengthen democratic processes.4. To develop programs and projects that will harmonize and unify Nigerian workers and professionals, irrespective of tribe, gender and political differences for collective progress.5. To help develop programs and projects that will enlighten and promote fundamental human rights as enshrined in the Nigerian constitution.6. To mediate in the period of crises to forestall breakdown of productivity, law and order.7. To promote the dignity of labour and alleviate workplace economic and social injustice.GOVERNANCE:The organization is under the control of the Board of Trustees (BoT) who meet periodically to formulate policies and approve programs for the organization. The BoT also assist in raising funds for projects. ADMINISTRATION / MANAGEMENTThe management of NIWOSEC is headed by the Executive Director / Lead Strategist, who is the Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for the overall administration of NIWOSEC and manages its day-to-day activities.
