Civic & Social Organization - Nelson, Nelson, New Zealand
The Not So Redundant Club was born out of COVID-19, as a way to bring together people experiencing job loss, business disruption, and those seeking meaningful work. It provides a space for you to connect, support and share your stories among a community of inspiring, hard-working Kiwis who happen to find themselves out of work due to the impacts of COVID-19. Our name reflects the fact that regardless of our current work situation, we, as people, as friends and whānau are not redundant. We are a powerful force for good in the world, and we're here to help lift each other up and keep moving forward, together.Losing a job or your business can hit you right to your core. It can leave you filled with self-doubt, feeling lonely, stressed and lacking a sense of belonging and purpose. There are literally thousands of Kiwis out there who have lost or will lose their jobs or businesses due to COVID-19. This is shocking and scary, but it also means that you are not in this alone. We have created this community to help incredible Kiwis from all over Aotearoa find, support and connect with each other as we all navigate this COVID-19 world together. To join the Not So Redundant Club, head over to our website here: https://members.notsoredundantclub.nz/
