The Now or Never African Wildlife Trust is a registered South African Non-profit organisation, registration number 2016/451533/08We find, rescue and rehabilitate rhino orphans whose mothers have died at the hands of wildlife criminals. We raise funds for 24/7 aerial and land support of rhino calves that are transported to our 2 rhino orphanages where our veterinary teams are able to stabilise and medically treat the orphans where necessary. We also raise funds for security of our rhino safe haven conservancies where we release the rhino orphans back into the wild when they reach 3 years of age.Since 2007, the rhino poaching crisis has caused the gruesome death of over 6000 rhinos in South Africa. Sadly hundreds of rhino calves have also died in this period and the poaching of elephants in Africa is threatening the survival of these majestic animals. . Five Non-profit companies listed below are intricately involved in rhino and elephant conservation and have joined forces under the Now or Never African Wildlife Trust to safeguard rhino orphans and Big Tusker elephants in Africa.1. The Rhino Orphanage (http://therhinoorphanage.co.za/)2. Care for Wild Africa (http://careforwild.co.za/)3. Saving the Survivors (http://www.savingthesurvivors.org/)4. Youth 4 African Wildlife (http://youth4africanwildlife.com/)5. The Tsavo Trust (http://tsavotrust.org)We also assist in raising funds for aerial and ground surveillance to safeguard some of the last remaining Big Tusker elephants in Africa. Less than 40 of these iconic Big Tuskers survive today. We actively work on local community involvement and youth conservation education.
