The Ohio State University Airport - Don Scott Field (KOSU) is one of the leading general aviation facilities in the nation and strategically located 7 miles northwest of Ohio State's main campus and 10 miles Columbus Downtown surrounded by the City of Dublin and Worthington. KOSU is the primary general facility serving The Ohio State University and the surrounding central Ohio communities. KOSU is owned and operated by the university's College of Engineering. Today, KOSU is home to more than 150 aircraft ranging from single engine to business jets including flight departments from various Fortune 500 companies and has ranked among the top 5% of airports nationwide and Ohio's fourth busiest airport in the number of aircraft operations with approximately 75,000 annual operations. KOSU offers a FAA Part 139-certified airport with snow and ice control plan, on-site Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting vehicle, on-site wildlife management and FAA contracted ATC services available daily from 0700 to 2300.
