The Orbit is a Live Music venue and Bistro based in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. We play predominantly Jazz and other Improvised Music 6 days a week (closed on Mondays) with some of the most talented jazz musicians in the country (and many touring from abroad) playing at our space. We're rated as one of the top 200 Jazz Clubs in the World by Downbeat magazines for 3 years running and pride ourselves on the quality of our programming. We view ourselves as a Creative and Cultural space and there's always something different and amazing happening at The Orbit.
