The Paws Project is conceived as an effort to provide food and medical assistance to Stray Animals mainly Cats and Dogs in first phase. The immediate goals include spaying/neutering of 30 odd felines and to provide shelter to an old orthopedic dog which the project is already taken care for food etc, Work for adoption process of nine present kittens and further kittens (as two of the cats are pregnant), To provide them a temporary shelter during upcoming rainy season of Mumbai and take care of their medical needs. The next stage of the project involves setting up an Animal Shelter / Medical Center on permanent basis under a charitable trust prior to May 2018 i.e. next rains.
