The Peace by Piece Initiative (PbP) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to generating positive political, social, and economic change through the promotion of dialogue with tools, knowledge and guidance shared and applied by team members in workshops, conferences and educational activities.By enabling individuals, communities and organizations to inclusively engage sensitive and pressing global issues through constructive dialogue, the diversity, conflict, and opportunity inherent in the pluralism of humanity – represented by different views, priorities and decision-making processes – is better understood and appreciated. Dialogue as such opens paths for new ways of viewing challenges or issues, stimulates creative action and encourages collaborative problem solving. It improves the quality of solution generation when addressing shared challenges and, through inclusion and shared understanding, implementation of these solutions.The outcomes of PbP activities contribute to the growth of a progressive society of peacemakers and peacekeepers who work to encourage and implement dialogical processes that place a priority on inclusive engagement, issue identification and the responsible communication of outcomes from their activities benefiting participants, observers and future generations of peacemakers.
