Founded in the summer of 2017, The Pillyr Foundation is an Atlanta-based 501(c)(3) public charity formed to deliver artistic and functional community projects that cultivate vibrant public space.With every project that we pursue or facilitate, we consider five key principles to nurture vibrant public space: Culture & Art, Access, Nature, Safety, & Activity. Our charitable activities are grouped into the following programs:Pillyr Action | Self-initiated design + build projects from short-term installations to long-term interventions ranging from bus stop shelters to plazas.Pillyr Engagement | Facilitating public space projects led by residents & neighborhoods through meetings, workshops, dérives, and project build days.Pillyr Resources | Developing web technology to facilitate community engagement, pooling of resources, and data to help decision-making.
