The Pour is a media platform that exposes communal leadership, grassroots movements, and local connection within the framework of independent coffee shops. Through baristas, owners, and customers who inhabit the coffee world, we will gather stories and streamline them to contextualize what independent coffee shops are doing to improve and connect their respective communities. We are like-minded allies. We roam, we seek happiness, and most important we try to establish comfort in our lives. Nothing can inhibit us from finding compassion with one another if we are exposed to the commonalities we are all a part of together. These are stories of communal leadership, individuals finding growth, and security in being, "human". How are we going to evoke positive commentary back into media? How can we turn progressive conversations into action? Is it all possible through the framework of a coffee shop? We'll see.This is our response.Welcome to The Pour.
