The Practice was founded by Dr Rachel Avery- Senior Clinical Psychologist. Rachel is a Tasmanian native and, after 22 years of working both in the private and public sectors on the mainland and extensive study abroad, Rachel jumped at the chance to relocate her family and The Practice to The Channel area. With a varied and growing population, the area south of Hobart has a growing need for quality mental health support. The Practice is here to provide this. We are a group of like-minded psychologists that want to offer you the best possible care in a warm and supportive environment. To help ensure wraparound support, we offer assessment and therapy to children, adolescents and adults.
