The Princess Shop creates an enhanced graduation experience for female-identified students in need, and provides them with mentorship, support, and the tools to pursue success after graduation. We do so through our three programs: The Dress Program, The Fairy Godmother Program, and The Next Chapter Program.The Dress Program lends donated dresses and accessories to female-identified and female expressing graduates in financial and/or social need, to create an equivalent graduation experience to their peers.The mission of the Fairy Godmother Program is to provide Princess Graduates with the needed self-awareness, self-confidence, motivation, and life skills to accomplish their goals. The Fairy Godmother (mentor) provides encouragement and support in bringing these ambitions to reality. It is our hope that the Princess Graduates and their respective Fairy Godmothers develop a relationship that, whether it lasts a year or a lifetime, will enrich the lives of both.The Next Chapter Program was formerly The Scholarship Program at The Princess Shop. The inability to afford a memorable graduation experience goes hand-in-hand with the inability to afford post-secondary education. The young women who participate in The Princess Shop's Dress Program will experience an exceptional graduation day to transition into the next chapter of their lives, but for some of these girls, there is no guarantee that the next chapter will be any better than the last. This is where the rest of our community comes in. With your help, we can provide educational and living scholarships, as well as work placements, to assist some of these young women in this important transition, decreasing debt and increasing their quality of life.
