Targeting the brightest students from the toughest backgrounds, The Professionals matches these Year 10 pupils with adult mentors from a variety of workplaces. (previous cohorts of mentors included individuals from PwC, Google and HSBC). Students develop their professionalism-related skills over a number of months, culminating in personalised Work Experience placements at the end of the programme for the participants to put their new skills to practice.
