The Pump Café is a new social enterprise in the heart of East Birmingham; founded by The Pump and Young Enterprise to provide training opportunities for young people and healthy food for their customers. The Pump (East Birmingham) Ltd is a unique charity that supports the development of young people, particularly those that experience disadvantage and exclusion, whilst Young Enterprise connects business, educators and young people to inspire each other through enterprise. The Pump Café enables young people to develop their skills and re-engage with learning by providing affordable, quality food in a friendly environment that is open to all, and hospitality and catering services for local businesses and third sector organisations across the city.
