The Red Cedar Log, the official yearbook of Michigan State University, is an award-winning, comprehensive collection of the Spartan experience. It is one of the university's oldest publications: a running story of MSU told by and for the students. We honor this story, and we recognize that it does not end. The 392-page book is published annually and boasts some of the best in student design, photography, and content in the country. Red Cedar Log staffers spend the school year documenting campus life, student organizations, Greeks, varsity sports and colleges, seeking to capture both the momentary and the timeless. The final product is a piece of history, an enduring account of the people, places and events that shaped us.
