The REF (Research on Education and Family) Collaborative envisions community programs that are supported and enhanced by family and education science. The REF Collaborative achieves its vision by connecting researchers and practitioners in the family and educational sciences through research, rigorous evaluation, implementation support, and capacity building through professional development. It specializes in building partnerships, increasing program effectiveness, and sharing knowledge with stakeholders concerned with the health and well-being of students, families, and schools. The REF Collaborative has completed projects for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, New Hampshire Department of Education, the University of New Hampshire, the Center for Collaborative Education, and local school districts. Its work is strongly represented in the academic publication and conference circuit with nearly 80 appearances since 2014.
