The Refuge is a Christian Ministry in Columbus, Ohio offering free drug and alcohol rehab.Our 13-month Men's Ministry and 12-month Women's Ministry have helped thousands of people who were struggling with addiction to transform their lives. Founded in 1999 as a simple residential ministry in rural Vinton County, Ohio, The Refuge continues to grow and expand to serve not only the 75+ men and women in our 5 locations across central Ohio, but their families, churches and communities as well. The residential ministry has had the honor of helping more than 5,000 people enter a brand new life - free from addiction and on their way to becoming better citizens, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, fathers, and mothers. The Refuge has seen tremendous growth as a hub of discipleship and transformation, and we trust God to continue to use us to "...bring Good News to the poor...to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free…"
