The Rhythm of the World Foundation Details
The goal of the Rhythm of the World Foundation is to establish programs centered around healthcare, music, and entrepreneurship to expand on opportunities offered to young Africans. Rhythm is the heart and soul of music, just as the African youth is the heart of Africa's advancement. Through several programs, the foundation hopes to improve the resources available to the youth, and equip young individuals with the skills to lead the continent onto a path of greater success and achievement. By establishing an environment through a series of initiatives that promote entrepreneurship, healthcare, music, and civic participation, the Rhythm of the World Foundation hopes to facilitate young Africans opportunity to thrive academically and spiritually.Our current project, called the Epi Manual Initiative inspired the creation of The Rhythm of the World Foundation. The goal of the initiative is to donate copies of the American Public Health Associations' Control of Communicable Diseases manual to healthcare personnel in Sierra Leone, to help restructure the country's healthcare system in the aftermath of the 2014-2016 Ebola Outbreak.
