The Road Trip USA started as an endeavor by 3 young San Diegans, (Chris Krstevski, Troy Payne, and Eric Maliepaard) to live out our American Dream and travel the country in a classic American convertable.Our desire is to spread a message of hope and healing in in the face of high gas prices, fears of terrorism, and a broken and fragmented society.We bought and restored the car, recruited well-known American companies to sponsor the Road Trip, and loaded the trunk with supplies and Bibles.We embarked on the Road Trip USA on September 13, 2005. After 10 weeks, countless adventures, and a few breakdowns, we made it back home safely. Our goal now is to tell the Road Trip USA story through our new and exciting documentary. We hope to use this documentary as a tool to encourage the next generation of explorers to stand strong in their faith, and use their God-given gifts for a greater purpose.
