From the unassuming façade to your first steps into The Rock you will be lured in by the spacious and contemporary feel, inviting the community and visitors a place to eat, drink and play.Formerly ‘The Gladstone Hotel' for over 100 years, based in the heart of Toowoomba's CBD, our name pays homage to the original venue which locals endearingly referred to as the "happy rock". The original floorboards still exist in the venue today on the walls of the Top Bar, honouring the history, whilst aesthetically complementing our design.The Rock Pub is a one of a kind gastropub on the Darling Downs. Our multi-level venue offers a ground floor modern dining space and bar setting which connects to a bright outdoor beer garden, while upstairs you will find The Top Bar and cover deck featuring live music regularly. We can accommodate for boutique exclusive dining as well as larger group functions throughout the venue.We pride ourselves on offering a gastropub experience throughout the venue and Head Chef Adam Pownall has crafted a menu to suit all flavours.
