The Round Table brings forth a unique concept – forging linkages across disciplines by fostering critical analysis and co-creation of knowledge.The Round Table Society is the only interdisciplinary academic society of Kirori Mal College. Our society is acclaimed to give shape to creative academic-centric ideas in the form of workshops, seminars, events, and fests. The Round Table also takes up projects aimed at social welfare.Since the inception of The Round Table, various eminent people from all walks of life have graced our events, told their stories, and inspired a plethora of students.We're also the only society of the college that organizes a Model United Nations annually.It aims to establish effective networking among the following six departments:1. Marketing 2. Creative and Promotion 3. Event Management 4. Corporate Handling and Content 5. IT & Design 6. Research and Development These 6 different departments work interdependently to facilitate productive collaboration amongst them.Objective: The objective lies in the holistic development of members. This is the only society that provides students with an open space to come up and present their ideas which are more often than not, turned into a reality.By working in different departments, interacting with a divergent diverse group of people, and taking the baton of leadership in one's hand, a member of TRT gains ample exposure to later emerge as a more skilled and tolerant individual. This society helps in inculcating the values of team spirit, time management, and a strong work ethic.Mission: With carrying the motto "Dialogue across Discipline" ahead, our mission is to apply insights of academic disciplines to explain various phenomena of the society and thus make the everyday subjects that we come across more relevant for all the students.
