Founded in 1995, UGA Rowing Club is a non-profit 501(c)-7 organization that provides students with various leadership and athletic outlets. Each year, UGA Rowing Club travels throughout the southeast and United States, competing in competitions as far away as Boston, MA and as close to home as Gainesville, GA. Our organization is entirely run by our elected officer board, which manages our yearly budget of over $150,000. Our goals are to provide our members with the athletic channels to improve themselves both physically and mentally, as well as giving them life applicable experiences such as teamwork, time management, dedication, and leadership. Along the way, our members put in hundreds of hours every semester to become the greatest rowers they push themselves to be.
